British Airways World Cargo has announced the launch of a third daily Dubai passenger service as part of its Winter schedule. There is just one change to the long-haul freighter programme with the London Stansted - Hong Kong rotation, which will see Munich replace Cologne from 29-Oct-08.
The current shorthaul reighter summer schedule will remain in place for the winter.
Johnny Rubio, area commercial manager, Middle East, Central Asia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, comments: "Making extra capacity available to our customers in Dubai will be of tremendous benefit to the region. Through our efficient hub at London Heathrow, customers will be able to access destinations across Europe via our extensive shorthaul freighter network, consisting of 48 weekly widebody services across 12 European destinations.
"Additionally, with 18 gateways to the US and our extensive trucking programme, customers using this extra service can be assured of a swift and efficient delivery of commodities across our global network."
