Emergency response exercise at Al Bateen Executive Airport
Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) will conduct a full scale emergency response exercise at Al Bateen Executive Airport today, in accordance with Civil Aviation Regulations issued by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and in compliance with standards and recommendations as stipulated by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Based on a scenario of an aircraft crash, the simulated disaster is planned to test all aspects of emergency management including emergency communications, rescue, fire fighting, evacuations, security and medical service.

The exercise is expected to run for two hours, from 12:00 PM until 02:30 PM. During this time, the airport operations will be partially closed.
