Royal Air Maroc operates some 17 daily flights from the airport using a range of Boeing 737, 747 and 767 aircraft as well as Airbus A320s. Paris Orly is the airline’s second largest base after its home operation in Casablanca. Air Caraïbes has four A330 flights a day from Orly serving the key destinations of Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France and St Martin as well as other prime locations in the Caribbean. Air Mali and Air Burkina, part of the Celestair Group (Celestair Group represents an alliance of airlines under the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development, AKFED), have a total of seven weekly frequencies to mostly western and sub-Saharan African destinations. These routes are served by MD-80 aircraft. Mauritania Airways’ three times weekly Airbus A320 operations also serve western and sub-Saharan African destinations. Yves Crespel, Managing Director of Ground Handling for WFS, said: “These new contracts show the great ability of WFS to adapt its range of services and operational structure to provide the handling solutions our airline partners require. We are proud of their trust in WFS. At such a complex time in the airline industry, these contracts give cause for great optimism for our team in Paris.”
